Requirements to travel to Panama, VISA and PROTOCOLS

To enjoy your trip to Panama, you must comply with the following documents and regulations:

  • Valid passport, with at least 6 months of validity.
  • Return ticket to the country of origin or the next destination to be visited.
  • Present proof of economic solvency of a minimum of five hundred dollars (USD $500.00), either in cash, credit card, bank reference, work letter, or traveler’s checks. Some nationalities may be required to present a higher amount. We recommend checking with the Consulate of Panama in your country or with your airline.
  • Address of the place of accommodation and purpose of the trip.”
  • Some nationalities need to present their tourism visa before their trip to Panama. We recommend in case of, visiting the Panamá council in your country. Any other inquiries, visit the webpage of the  National Migracion Service of Panamaor consult with your airline of choice. 
  • Vaccines for the  Yellow Fever  is mandatory for anyone traveling from Brazil, who must present the international vaccination certificate issued by ANVISA carried out at least 10 days before arrival.

Exceptions:

– Children under 1 year of age and adults over 60 years of age.

– Travelers in transit in Brazil without leaving transit zones.

– Holders of a contraindication certificate for medical reasons.

CLIMATE

In April (dry season), the average monthly temperature ranges between 24° and 30°C, with days with maximum temperatures between 34° and 39°C.

January falls in Panama’s dry season, with mostly sunny days and temperatures ranging from 75°F to 85°F (24°C to 29°C). Ideal for outdoor activities. This month is one of the best for visiting Panama, thanks to pleasant weather and minimal rain.

At meeting rooms and inside hotels, the air conditioner temperature ranges between 19 and 23°C, so it’s recommended to wear a coat indoors.
